Cutie Prototype Nominated For The EdTech Awards 2026 in VR/AR Solution Category

Cutie – a prototype developed by PreviewLabs for XR Peds, funded by the CDC – was selected as a finalist in The Ed Tech Awards 2026. The project was among the 5 nominees for an award in the Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality (VR/AR) Solution category.

The Cutie project is funded by the CDC and was developed by PreviewLabs for XRPeds.

Cutie was designed for parents of high-risk infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The game provides immersive, hands-on training in critical infection prevention practices, from proper hand hygiene to empowering parents with the communication skills needed to engage effectively with frontline hospital staff.
