Dr. Megan Smith and her team at the Yale Child Study Center at Yale School of Medicine released a video in which they go through the MoMba Live Long prototype, which was developed by PreviewLabs. MoMba is a social network app for women who used to smoke before their pregnancy to remain smoke-free after giving birth.
Discover how the MoMba Live Long app helps new moms connect and stay smoke-free.
The iPhone app uses gamification to encourage its users to stop their smoking habit. It connects with a Bluetooth CO sensor, allowing the user to measure the carbon monoxide level in their breath. They will unlock rewards for continued smoking cessation.
The video, published on the official Yale School of Medicine website, walks you through the app. It is a showcase of the social networking features, as well as the various techniques included to help users to quit their unhealthy habit.
